*St Annes 5-5 O’Tooles 4-10*

Friday Night Lights! Our u13 girls footballers made the spin to
Bohernabreena last Friday evening for the Shield final.

Bohernabreena, a graveyard for many an O’Tooles football team! At halftime
we found ourselves 10 points down, a combination of factors leading to the
deficit; some great finishing by Annes, O’Tooles being less economical in
front of goal, big match nerves, the sizable crowd, proper championship
intensity! The girls’ resilience however, shone through in the second half
as they stormed back to win the game by 2 points. All 16 girls on the
evening contributed to the win along with the loyal O’Tooles support.

A big thanks to Ali, Fiona and Shauna who got involved with the team over
the past few weeks. It has given the girls a big lift and no doubt
contributed to the teams success.

Finally, the best of luck to our u14 Camogie girls playing in the
championship final this Sunday. Abby Taffe, Ava Mackey, Layla Deans, Rosie
Connolly & Sarah Donhoe have another big day out!
