Well done to our u14 camogie girls. They beat Olafs 6 goals and 8 pints to
2 goals and 1 pints.

A brillant team performances today but the four As were top of the
pile; Aoibhinn , Aoife, Aine and Ava Mac.

Move of the game was when Aoibhinn hit the ball into the square and Aine
doubled on the ball in the air into the net .

The final will be in a couple of weeks. Details to follow.

All the coaches involved with the team where proud of all 16 girls.

Outside of this game, we are trying to empower the girls on the team and in
the club to say in sport.

This started last week when rugby legend Lynne Cantwell spoke in the club
and this Tuesday , camogie legend , Elaine O Meara will be in the club at
6.15pm . This chat will benefit any athlete, so like last week, all
players and parents are welcome.

Elaine, sister of Ger O ‘Meara, has had an amazing camogie career,
including over 10 years with Dublin , 2 All Ireland junior hurling medals
and numerous blue stars. We really appreciate her making time to speak so
come around and hear what she has to say .
