*Dear Members,*

*The information below outlines the details of the proposed opening hours
and guidelines for booking and use of our club lounge over the Christmas
period. *

*We are pleased to confirm our intention to open our facilities as we
recognise the important role that the club plays to provide a safe and
controlled environment in which our members can socialise together to
support our general well-being. *

*To this end, we want to highlight the Clubs intention to STRICTLY APPLY
the government guidelines and to enforce strict interpretations of these
and extended health and safety measures which we will require all patrons
to adhere to when we re-open. These measures are necessary in order to
provide better protection to all our members and hence cooperation from all
members is requested and necessary. *

*Planned December opening hours are set out below along with booking
requirements and additional safeguarding measures include: -*

– *All patrons and staff will be required to provide contact tracing
details for our records.*
– *All patrons will always be required to wear masks on arrival and on
departure and while circulating to and from their tables while in the
clubhouse building.*
– *Use of the lounge is being limited only to those who purchase a meal
for consumption on the premises (please don’t expect this requirement to be
relaxed as staff have been informed that it cannot be relaxed in any
circumstances);*
– *Private functions cannot be accommodated during this period: table
settings are limited to 2, 4 and/or 6 persons and bookings for no more than
two linked tables will be accepted.*
– *Patrons will be required to remain seated at their allocated tables
at all times and are not permitted to circulate between tables.*
– *Time limits are not currently required but will be applied in cases
where patrons are not adhering to the guidelines. The need for time limits
may be reviewed in the light of actual experience in the coming weeks. *

*These measures will allow us to balance strong health and safety
mechanisms along with the opportunity to avail of our club facilities over
the Christmas period. We ask all members for their co-operation and look
forward to welcoming members over the festive season. *

*Our intention is to allow members plus one guest entry to the club. *

*As our numbers are limited due to social distancing rules the booking of
tables in advance is strongly recommended. Tables can be booked in advance
by contacting Alan the bar manager directly at 086-0741034*

*Tables will be offered on a first come first served basis for members*

*Last orders on drinks will be at 10pm each evening and all patrons must
leave the premises by 11pm*

*Bar opening times for the upcoming weekend are as follows:*

· *Friday 11th December 7pm, *

· *Saturday 12th December 6pm, *

· *Sunday 13th December 3pm (All Ireland Hurling Final)*

*Please note for the All Ireland Football final the demand will exceed the
availability, therefore it has been decided that members can apply to
attend plus a guest. We may need to run a lottery early in the week to
determine the successful applicants. A €20 charge will apply for entry to
the club on All Ireland Final Day, for this you will receive entrance to
the club and two tickets for the GAA National Draw and all proceeds for
entry will go to the juvenile section of the club.*
