Woohoo, well done Kevin and the beautiful and incredibly talented senior
girls on their superb home win in the League Cup yesterday vs Stars of
Erin. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions support was limited on the
side-lines, so you’ll have to believe me when I tell you it was a cracking
game. The girls only had one thing in mind……to win and that’s what they did
in style. At every opportunity, one or other of our girls fired the ball
over and under the bar. Their love for the game and the overpowering desire
to win prevailed. From super Beth in goal, halfback Michaela (who was
unreal), all the way to the front the girls were incredible. Each girl is
an integral part of this great team. The only blot on the landscape was an
injury to Ericka Behan, who unfortunately had to go to hospital with a knee
injury.

*We all wish Ericka a speedy recovery and hope to see you back on the pitch
soon*

Saturday morning was abuzz with nearly eighty 4 to 6yr olds learning to
play our national sport, in our safe and well organised nursery. It was
great to see all the smiling happy faces, so eager to learn and play and
meet new boys and girls in their little pods. If you have a child of that
age, that would like to participate, or you have a shy child that you think
would benefit from joining a small group pod, please bring her/him/them
along on Saturday morning from 9:45 to 11am

Stay safe everyone
