Score lines aren’t always a true reflection of a game. What matters is kids
training, turning up for games, getting out there and giving it their best
shot. That’s what our kids do every time they pull on the green and white
jersey.

Congratulations to our U15 & U13 girls on their respective home wins on
Sunday in the Championship. The 15’s won in style vs Skerries Harps by a
massive amount of points. Coming up to half time it could have gone either
way it was so close. And then the unthinkable happened, early in the second
half Skerries scored a goal. Thankfully it was the metaphorical kick in the
rear that our girls needed. Man-O-War in the final on the 26th Oct.

The U13’s played and won with equal gusto in their home tie Cup challenge
vs a Ballyboden team that couldn’t contain our girls. The girls relished
the fact they had home advantage and never looked likely to relinquish it.
Their final is also on the 26th vs St Peter’s.

Our U12 boys had a mixed bag this week in the hurling. The A team suffered
a rare loss away to St Finians while our B’s picked up valuable points in
their away win vs Ballyboden.

Unfortunately, our U14’s finished their hurling season on a low. Although
both had relatively good seasons, with the Div3 team finishing in 3rd
place.

Our U9’s enjoyed great home wins vs Raheny in their hurling games on
Saturday. The lads are looking forward to next season already.

****Colm Nally is holding a ‘Football’ workshop this Friday 18th @ 7pm. All
