Good news for our junior footballers that proved too strong for Wild Geese
in their relegation match on home soil on Sunday. Thanks, must go to
Stevie, his management team and the players for keeping it together and
doing so well.
Job well done by our minor footballers that qualified for the semi-final of
the championship shield on Sunday. The lads also play an important
quarter-final game this coming Sunday at 11am in the hurling championship
away to Bray Emmets.
Well done to our U15 footballers who delivered a strong performance against
Na Fianna to progress to the championship semi-final on the 5th Nov. The
lads knew what need to be done and they played their hearts out to get
there.
Our U13 girls love to play in finals and the championship shield is no
exception. They arrived in Blunden Drive on Saturday afternoon to take on
and beat Lucan Sarsfield and that’s exactly what they did. It’s onward and
up now as they meet Ballinteer this Saturday in the final, venue and time
TBC.
