Well done to our U13 girls that proved their love for winning trophies when
they were victorious in our girls’ football blitz on Friday evening. The
final ended in a penalty shootout v Lucan. Our girls came out on top
winning 3-2 on penos. It’s a great start to their championship endeavour.

Not to be outdone, our U13 boy won our hurling blitz on Saturday. The lads
were in superb form following their extra coaching with David during the
week. There are many to thank so I hope I don’t forget anyone. To Lenny for
organising the blitzes, all the helpers, the clubs that travelled here,
Farrell Hurls for sponsorship & Christy McCann and team for having our
pitches and the school pitches ready.

Congratulations to Kate Fitzgibbon & the Dublin team on their great win on
Sunday.

This weekend in our lounge, Friday fun and games, Saturday ’Carl Phillips’
& Sunday the ‘Foggy Duo’.

Don’t forget our ‘Golf Classic’ on Friday 15th September. Places filling up
fast.

We have tremendous weekend planned, starting on Friday 25th with ‘Oasis’
tribute show ‘Live Forever’ This is a ticket only event and tickets are
selling like hot cakes. Saturday ‘Uptown’ and Sunday after the Dublin v
Tyrone game we have an ‘End of Summer/back to school’ family event.
Entertainment in our car park, food available & much more.

There was no winner of our Club Lotto. The numbers were 6, 7, 15, 17.
