Four teams plus ourselves took part in the hurling tournament on Good
Friday. Delvin of Westmeath where the overall winners beating O’Tooles in
the final.

It was obvious from the first game that Delvin were the team to beat.
There movement off the ball was excellent and every player had his head up
with the ball in hand. We played a nice brand of hurling ourselves but
Delvin were sharper and fully deserved their win.

Best for O’Tooles on the day was Ciarán Marjoram. He dominated in every
game. Ciarán is a powerful athlete and if he maintains focus is a future
full back for our club.

Many thanks to Delvin, Castleknock, Lorrha Rover and St Martins for
travelling and giving it their all.

Also thanks to Martin and Nicky for reffing and Christy and the grounds men
for have the pitch in excellent condition.

Next up we hope to have an under 13 football tournament on the 15th of May
