Well done all our teams that played over the weekend, especially our on
form minor footballers travelling to Ballyboden for their hard fought
deserved win. Our senior hurlers put the pain of defeat last season, behind
them to draw on Saturday against a very strong Lucan side in the
Championship. On the back of a great Féile win our U14 boys footballers
went to St Maurs for their win. A great home win in the Championship on
Saturday for our U16 footballers. Our little girls played their second
camogie blitz over the weekend and they did brilliantly. Camogie training
is *Thursday at 7pm* for any girl born ’04, ’05, ’06, ’07 or ’08. All girls
born these years, new or existing that would like to learn to play this
exciting game are welcome, just come along to the playing fields in Blunden
Drive. Our three team U10’s also went to Ballyboden on Saturday to play
their hurling. James, Karl, Fionn, Brandon and the rest of the lads and
lassies showed great strength of character by putting in the effort
required, while Danny and Ciaran played skilfully beyond their years. A big
thank you to all involved in the annual Temple St hospital cake sale in the
clubhouse on Saturday. This coming bank holiday weekend for your
entertainment it’s ‘Timeless’ on Saturday night and ‘East Coast’ on Sunday
night. Late opening both nights. There was no winner of our weekly live
Club Lotto draw. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 11, 18. This week the jackpot
will be €1,900
