Our u14s made it through to the Feile final after a rollercoaster of a day at Blunden Drive.Following a good win over St Judes in our opening game we faced Erin Go Bragh next. This was a very tight game with our lads taking their points well against a physically strong side.We were in control until the last few minutes when the opposition struck for 2 goals to give them a 1 point win.Next up was St Marks. We needed a win to have any chance of staying in the tournament. Our lads were fantastic and came out on top after a brilliant match with both sides giving it everything. We had made the semi final where we would face Round Towers Clondalkin. There were sore bodies all round as the game started.O Tooles scored first and the visitors replied. Our lads got ahead again but Towers came back again. The nerves were going on the sideline with finger nails disappearing fast.We all paused for breath at halftime. I dont know where they got their energy from but the O Tooles lads really pushed on taking some great scores to close out the game and get to the final. The final is in St Peregrines at 12pm today where we face St Marks again. Come and support the lads.
