With the Easter break over we were back in action with an away match against Fingal Gaels (St Finians/Wild Geese amalgamation).The weather was bad & recent rain left the pitch in a poor state – meaning we had a scrappy battle on our hands.There was little opportunity for skilful hurling throughout the first half with O Tooles coming back strongly as the home team had started well.We were up by 3 points at the break.The second have saw us get on top as we plundered a few goals and took our points well.Despite a spirited effort from the hosts in the last 10 minutes the clock was against them.Covered in muck, the O Tooles lads headed for home with another 2 points secured.Our next hurling adventure will be Feile on 16th – where we are hosting & hope to get lots of support.
