With the sun shining and spring in the air I had a feeling everything was
going to be positive for our Annual Good Friday Wall Ball Challenge today.
That positivity continued as all players arrived on time; all the refs

The first competition was the under 10s.
Seven clubs took part, St Vincents, Ballyboden, Cuala, Trinity Gaels,
Fingallians, Naomh Olaf and of course O’Tooles.
For the first time we won the competition and not only that we had a clean
sweep with joint first and second. Brilliant stuff from Mike Farnham and
Scott Walker sharing first place and Ciaran Sheehy in second place.
Next up was the under 12 competition. Nine clubs took part in this one,
Ballyboden, Clontarf, Trinity Gaels, Fingallians, Oliver Plunkett Eoghan
Ruadh, Castleknock, Commercials, Raheny and ourselves.

Our three finalist were Conn Rock of O’Tooles, Neil Hogan of Castleknock
and Connor Cleary of Commercials. All went silent as the three lads worked

the club with Connor in second and Neil in third.
So the positive day turned out to be a great day.
I would like to thank all the parents that brought the players today, our
sponsor Pat Kearney, the refs, Andy Cunnigham, Ray Sheehy, Declan Graham,
David Needham and my side kick since the thing started John Brennan and
Tara for doing the tea.
All going well, next year will be as good .
