The F’ers got off to a winning start tonight v O’ Dwyers.

With our oldest team ever. The average age of the team was 40, the usual
warm up and zero preparation we beat O ‘Dwyers on the best all weather
pitch I have seen to date.

Best for Otooles was Burky. His mind and body did not know was happening as
he was hurling with zero hangover. John O’Loughlin (our modern day Eamonn
Ryan) has started negotiations with Dublin County Board to get all our
games on Saturdays so we can have the other David weekly.

Next week we are in St Anne’s so we should have Bob Meath as it a home game
so things are looking positive.

Finally big welcome to Keith Wilson and Robbie Fennelly making there F’ers
debut.
