Our 3rd league match against Round Towers in Clondalkin was the proverbial game of two halves. It was played on a very sticky surface with a strong breeze blowing across the pitch.O Tooles settled well and had a few scores on board before Towers got going. The home team benefited from some sloppy O Tooles defending & the wind and were ahead on the scoreboard at half time .However the Larriers really started to motor after a very honest team talk and quickly pulled ahead as soon as the 2nd half got under way.We kept running at their defence and delivered some great scores. The fact that we kept Towers scoreless in the 2nd half highlights our efforts.A well deserved win off a determined 2nd half showing.Next week sees a break from football as we tackle Boden away in our 1st hurling game.Up the Larriers !
