Our first day out for 2016 saw us visit Na Fianna in St Vincents CBS.The weather was poor with a cold wind blowing across the very heavy pitch.

From the first whistle the O Tooles lads camped out in the Na Fianna half and soon the scores started to come.Na Fianna struggled to make inroads into our half and on the rare occasions they did we were ready and quickly returned the ball to our forward line. Half time came with the Larriers well on top and Na Fianna yet to score. The home side came back into the game during the second half and picked off some good points to loud cheers from their supporters. However the Larriers pushed on again and following another couple of goals the result was never in doubt – a good win for the away team.

Good , solid performances all round.Need to keep this going next week as we face Crokes at home.
