The F’ERS had their first defeat of the season today at the hands Clontraf.

They were still in the game at half time, however the fitter Clontraf
pulled away in the second half.

The management team abandoned the start fat, finish skinny tactic when we
seen the Clontraf players before the game. Some of their players resembled
UFC fighters. I belive their wing forward was called Conor McGregor and the
mid fielder name was Chuck Liddell. I must check their team sheet.

The F’ERS tried to the end, as they always do and did themselves proud. Man
of the match for O’Tooles was Luke Myers. Luke put in his best ever game
for the F’ERS (so fare). With displays like this, he will be pushing hard
for a spot on the second team. I am sure Dave Burke will organise him a
chance over the coming months.

Two new F’ERS made their debuts today, Damian Heiron, a larrier legend and
Adam Keogh, a minor from last year. We hope to see both back out at our
match game, where we will be returning to the winning formula of starting
fat finishing skinny.

The next game we will be unleashing our newest signing, Willo, who I belive
is returning to Ireland just to player centre forward for F’ERS.
