Hook hook hook was shouted out thousands of times night at the under 9
conditioned blitz. Mentors, parents and players completely forgot about
scoring goals. It was only hooks that were wanted.
We ran an A and B competition last night. Our own under 9s winning the A
competition beating Naomh Barrog in the final by a single score. A
brilliant hook by Adam O’Niell giving the lads victory. Brandon Smith from
O’Tooles was the leader on hooks for the entire competition with 6 hooks.
Ballyboden won the B competition beating St Sylvesters in a very tense game.
O’Tooles would be like to thank Clontraf, Ballyboden St Endas, St
Sylvesters, Skerries Harps and Naomh Barrog for taking part in the blitz
and hope to see them again during the year at future blitzes.
We would also like to thank the refs for doing a great job.
Next Blitz is next Friday for the under 8s.
