Today the F’ERS went three for three overcoming O’Dwyers 5-13 to 2-3.

The new team strategy of starting fat and gradually reducing the average
Body Mass Index for the team is definitely working. The start fat, finish
skinny game plan will surely be adopted by every Junior F Team by this time
next.
After much talk, Mick Healy finally made his debut. This ensured The Three
Amigos of Mick "the body" Healy, The Devil and Domo O’Reilly played on the
same team together for the first time in 15 years. Domo, initially not sure
if he would be able to start, ended up man of the match scoring 3-1 from
play.

It is also worth mentioning that Collie Farrelly laid down the marker for
"shoulder of the year" [last year’s winner was The Silver Fox (Terry
Sheridan)] with a hit the literally sent the player flying for four feet
before the poor soul collapsed into a heep.

Up next is a strong and youthful Clontarf team on the 17th of May, where
the start fat, finish skinny game plan will be really tested.
