Whether it was challenge or competitive games that our teams played over
the past week, well done to you all.

Best of luck to our amalgamated girls minor team when they play in Chanel
tonight at 19:00 in the league cup.

Last Tuesday our U15’s had a great home win in the football championship
over neighbours Naomh Barrog. Unfortunately the lads were beaten by a
strong Sylvester’s side yesterday. The boys played very well in both these
games.

Our junior hurlers had a very nice home win vs St Maurs on Sunday in the
Cup. It’s good to see the lads in the forefront leading the way for the
club.

On Saturday our U12A, footballers travelled to Lusk for their Blitz win.
While our B’s stayed home for their win vs Erin’s Isle. Our C team got
through by virtue of a walkover. Well done to you all.

Well done to our U14 girls that won away on Friday night vs St Peter’s in
the league cup. The girls next match is the first of the championship. It’s
another away game in Boharnabrenna to St Anne’s.

Our U16 footballers were winners on Thursday evening in their home
championship game. The boys have a championship hurling match tomorrow
evening away to Thomas Davis in Kiltipper road.

While it was unfortunate that our U16 girls were beaten by a single point.
Be proud girls, you played great. Their next game is also their first in
this year’s championship, this Sunday at home vs Whitehall Colmcille at
16:30.

Our u13 camogie team played Naomh Olaf B yesterday in the club. The girls
won by playing some really nice camogie. All of the girls had a good game
but best on the day was Áine
McCauley who outworked everyone else on the field.

The U13’s next game is this Sunday when we will play our first ever
championship game.

Finally, we want girls to join our team. It does not matter if you have
never played before. Take for example Dayna Byrne. She joined our team less
than 10 months ago. She had never played camogie before. Today, Dayne
played midfield for 60 minutes, went on solo runs, hit the ball out of her
hand and worked hard for the entire game. If you are want to give it a go,
like Dayne did, asked your parents to email me at lennyrock45@gmail.com.

Our U14’s suffered a defeat in their first Feile hurling outing yesterday
away to a very strong Round Towers Clondalkin side. Hard luck boys. Hold
your heads and hearts high.
