An Cumann Ui Thuathail Club notes

What a great, well deserved win for our senior hurlers over locals Naomh
Barrog in their championship game on Saturday. The lads were outstanding,
showing a will to succeed and progress. It was a superb spectacle of class
A hurling. Our minor footballers were also winners on Sunday away to a
strong Na Fianna side in the league. They relish a challenge and that’s
exactly what both teams got. Well done to 5 of our U13 girls playing so
well in their trials for the Dublin development squad, with special
accolade to Saoirse Lawlor coming second in the Feile Skills Star
Challenge. Although our U14 hurlers didn’t progress from the first round in
Feile they can take heart that they are still champions to us. The boys
behaved impeccably, never letting themselves, their parents or the club
down. We would like to give a special mention to Ryan Coffey for his
performance on the day. Our GPO David had another successful coaching
workshop last week thanks to Liam O’Reilly for an excellent session and to
all that attended. We look forward to the next one. This coming weekend in
our lounge for your entertainment we have Friday night fun with Terry &
Sean, hosting Card bingo & Hi/lo jackpot games. Saturday with the ever
popular ‘Diablo’ and Sunday 6 to 8pm ‘Nightlife’. There was no winner of
our Thursday night live Club Lotto draw. The numbers were 4, 14, 19, 24.
The jackpot this week is €1,400
