With rain belting down in the hours leading up to throw in we weren’t sure what state the pitch would be in.But Christy & his team had done a great job & then the sun came out for our hurling match v Fingal Gaels.
We were on top from the start & soon got the scoreboard ticking over.Our lads were in charge all over the pitch with the opposition struggling to get into the game.The half ended with us well ahead & Fingal Gaels yet to score.The 2nd half saw the same trend continue and despite a downpour for the last 20 mins we continued to register good scores to run out convincing winners & stay top of the league.A good all round team performance.
