Well we got the sunshine we were promised as we took to the field v Round Towers Clondalkin for the latest league installment. We had edged it over them in the feile semi final so knew we were in for a competitive game.They were well up for it flying into a 4 point lead before we got a touch.It was fast & furious with the sliotar moving up & down the field. We got back into it with a well taken goal.It only seemed like 10 mins as the whistle went for half time.Scores all square.Towers came out strong again picking off some good scores. We got back into it again.They pulled away again.We were playing catch up.3 points down with 10 mins to go.The post saved Towers as we went for goal.We got a point with 3mins to go.It turned out to be the last score.Our unbeaten run at an end.A chance to start another one next time out.A special mention to both keepers who did everything to keep their teams in it.Well done lads.
