We hosted another hurling tournament last night and as always, with some
funny rules. Over one hundred under 10s took part (eight clubs). Every
club embracing the penos, the corners and the hand pass strike, hand
pass strike rules. Every player doing their utmost for their team.

I really appreciate the effort that the clubs made to try out this
conditioned game. I belive it brought players on as they got to grips with
rules.

Well done to Faughs who won the A final beating a very good Finians team by
a couple of goals. This is the second time this Faughs won out a blitz in
O’Tooles. They are coached by former Larrier, Shiner Brennan. I belive
with all his winning, Shiner now wants the Faughs player’s to call him
Brian Cody.

Kevins won the B Final beating Round Towers after a very exciting penalty
shoot out. Both Kevins and Round Towers were improving with every game.
Finally, thanks to the refs. It was difficult to interpret rules.
